Financial Chronology

Brothers and sister!

It is believed that you have read the profile under option: Home and what led me to embark upon project: Call for Peace.

Brothers and Sisters! As below is the chronology how the project: Call for Peace has been financed with the Grace of Allah.

• When I received compensation for my injuries of the assault in June 1993, I bought house in Radcliffe.
  

• I started accountancy practice but it could not take off as clients wanted to have the accounts prepared: No question asked.
  

• Made efforts to find a job in accountancy profession but with no avail. However, a professional firm availed my services as sub – contractor. But soon these arrangements have to end as again the firm asked me to prepare the accounts: No question asked.
  

• I embarked upon writing books and articles. The source of data was and is:
  

• study of Qur’an and Hadith and Islamic history plus attendance in sermons, conferences, seminars etc
  

• news and Programme on BBC Radio 4 based in London
  

• correspondence with public authorities of United Kingdom and Royal Family
  

• To overview world ‘Politics’:

• To honour my household responsibilities I had to recourse to private loans, credit cards and remortgage the house.
  

• In the year 2005 I went to Pakistan to publish books. I was hoping that revenue from sale of books will take care of the loans. But hope did not materialize because people did not want to read the books which require them to expend their day to day lives as per Islamic Values.
  

• It is duty and responsibility of the Muslim heads of states to introduce, revive and promote Deen e Islam. I wrote letters to heads of muslims states to sponsor project: Call for Peace and also sent copies of the books to support my representation but no one even acknowledged the receipt of letter. This led me to write the book: Do Heads of Islamic State Want Promotion of Islam in Urdu language. I sent copies of this book to the respective heads of states but of no avail.
  

• In short, default in mortgage payments led the bank to take court order to repossess the house. Allah’s help came and just one hour before the arrival of Bailiffs and Bandah of Allah arranged to pay £15,000 arrear in the bank and kept on arranging monthly mortgage payment until February 2011 as loan.
  

• There were no words to thank him. With the Toffeeq of Allah wrote an article on ‘Gratefulness’ and written him letters. This article and letters are uploaded on website: www.callforpeace.org.uk under option: Gratefulness.
  

• Since February 2011 the arrangement with the banks are that for one year only interest shall be payable and from February 2012 monthly payment along with capital shall resume.

Brothers and Sisters! As above is a brief outline of the financial chronology where with the Grace of Allah the project: Call for Peace have been moving along which indebted me over £150,000 which has warranted to ask for sponsorship of the project: Call for Peace.

Financial Interest

Brothers and Sisters! The question will arise in readers mind and I have been asked that why I took recourse to credit cards and re – mortgage the house while Interest is Haram in Islam and that I have written an article: Why Financial Interest is Haram?

Brothers and Sisters! I was forced to recourse to credit cards and re – mortgage the house.

Brothers and Sisters! Initially, I was avoiding interest element on credit cards as I was withdrawing cash to pay the balance outstanding where I was charged a percentage as service charge.

Brothers and Sisters! When the house came under the hammer of repossession I wrote letters to well off muslim businessmen and muslim heads of states and political parties to save the house from repossession which has become the Centre Point of Promotion of Islam. you will see that how I was forced to recourse to borrow money based upon interest.

Brothers and Sisters! If had I not recourse to borrow money based on interest then the data created for project: Call for Peace, with the Toffeeq of Allah, would have gone down the drain.

Brothers and Sisters! The question of Financial Interest is between Allah and His (SWT) Bandah. On the Day of Judgment my plea shall be that I was forced to recourse to borrow money based on interest and I should be forgiven. However, I have taken the risk to go in Hell should my plea is not accepted but Alhamdu’lillah! The data which has been created will remain on the scene until the Day of Resurrection subject to the Grace of Allah.

Loan for Allah’s Cause

Brothers and Sisters! Call for Peace is Allah’s Cause. Alhamdu’lillah! He (SWT) has been looking after it for the last twenty years which has indebted me over £150,000. If you look at the Islamic history that even Anbiyya e Karam had to recourse to loans and sponsorships when their own resources had exhausted. Therefore, it appears the Sunnah of Allah that whosoever devotes his life for Allah’s Cause he has to go through hard times and recourse to loans and sponsorship.

Brothers and Sisters! There is a narration that as Khatim ul Anbiyya Hazrat Mohammed (SAW) had financial crisis, the Angel Gibra’iel (PBUH) brought Message of Allah to the effect that if He (SAW) wants, Allah will convert mountain of Uhad into Gold but Prophet (SAW) excused Himself (SAW).

Brothers and Sisters! The scholars have deduced the reason as why Prophet Mohammed (SAW) excused Himself (SAW) that other people should also take part in expending their wealth in Path of Allah where they will be rewarded in this world and life hereafter.

Conclusion

Brothers and Sisters! Alhamdu’lillah! Project: Call for Peace is Allah’s Cause to look for Peace in this world and life hereafter where Allah is giving you opportunity to take part in the promotion of ‘Good Cause’.
