THE GIFT

OF

‘QAIDAH’

Brothers and Sisters!

Assalam o Alleyykum

[Peace be Upon You]

Under the light of the Qur’an and Hadith, it is an admitted fact that Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) were granted the Honour of Ma’ra’aj (Accession in the Presence of Allah (SWT)).

Brothers and Sisters! When Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) reached before His Lordship:

  • He (SAW) sat on His hams. (Sat with folded legs) and put his hands on His (SAW) thighs.

  • Allah (SWT) asked: (the nearest meaning)

“What present You (SAW) have brought for Us (SWT), being the Khatim ul Anbiyya (Last Prophet)?

Brothers and Sisters! He (SAW) replied:

Attahiyyatu-lillahi was’Salat watu wat Taiyyibatu.

(All prayers and worship offered through words, bodily actions and wealth are due to Allah).

Brothers and Sisters! Allah (SWT) liked the present and for its appreciation sent ‘Salam’ on Him (SAW).

Assalamu’alaika ay-yuhan-Nabiy-yu, Wa Rahmatul-lahi Wa Barakatuhu.

(Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the Mercy of Allah and     His Blessings).

Brothers and Sisters! He (SAW) submitted His attributes to Allah (SWT):

Assalam o’ Alaina Wa’ Ala Ibadilla– Hiss Swaliheen.

(Peace be upon us and on the righteous servants of Allah).

Brothers and Sisters! Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) included all His Ummah in the ‘Salam’ of Allah (SWT) and the ‘righteous and ‘pious’ people of His Ummah.

Brothers and Sisters! The legendry narrations state, that after the above dialogue, all the Angels along with Him (SAW) witnessed the ‘Lone Entity’ of Allah (SWT) and that Hazrat Mohammad (SAW) is Allah’s ‘Bandah’ (Servant) and ‘Rasool’ (Prophet):

Ash-hadu an La-il-aha illalahu Wa Ash-hadu Anna Muhammadan Abduhu Wa Rasuluh.

(I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship besides Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad (SAW) is His servant and Messenger).

Brothers and Sisters! The ‘Hikmah’ of the inclusion of His (SAW) Ummah Sahaba (RTU) asked Hazrat Mohammad (SAW): Why He (SAW) included His Ummah in the ‘Salam’ of Allah (SWT), when He (SAW) specifically included the ‘righteous’ and ‘pious’ people? (In accordance with the Sahaba’s (RTU) thoughts all ‘Mo’mi’neen’ (Muslims) are the ‘righteous’ and ‘pious’ people)

He (SAW) said: (the nearest meaning)

“He (SAW), with the ‘Grace’ of Allah (SWT) included all those people as well who were diverted toward digression“.

Brothers and Sisters! This clearly depicts that how much He (SAW) were concerned for the success of the ‘Mankind’.

Brothers and Sisters! Sincere Dua’a is to Allah (SWT), bestow us with Toffeeq (Help) to appreciate and honour the ‘Gift of Qaidah’, which, in fact is the ‘Image’ of the ‘Ma’ra’aj’ i.e., if the ‘Mankind’ is on his Hams before Allah (SWT). Ameen Summa Ameen

CONCLUSION

Brothers and Sisters! Do you not think that how Great and Magnificent Allah is that He (SWT) has allowed Muslims that the dialogue between Him (SWT) and Khatim ul Anbiyya Mohammed Ibne Abdullah (SAW) to be repeated after every two Rakat while performing Salat. It appears to be tantamount that every Muslim is repeating the Ma’ra’aj. The difference is that the dialogue was between Allah and Khatim ul Anbiyya (SAW) in Seventh Heaven where Khatim ul Anbiyya were in the presence of Allah but in case of Muslims they are on earth and Allah is on Arsh but nearer their Jugular Vein.

May Allah be with You

Wass’a’lam

[May Allah Bless You]
