The answer to this question lies in the following Hadith e Qudsi:
Allah said to the effect:
I was a hidden Treasure.
I wished to be recognized.
So I create Jinn and Inss.
[Spirits and Mankind]
Brothers and Sisters! The above example i.e. man out of the blues who had enormous powers and wanted to introduce himself is reflection of above Hadith e Qudsi.
Brothers and Sisters! As Allah was Lone Entity and He (SWT) wanted to share His Powers with somebody, so He (SWT), as per circumstantial evidence, initially created Angels and thereafter Jinn (Spirits). Why? Because Allah wanted them to know His (SWT) Powers where they will submit to Him (SWT). This fact is revealed in the Qur’an:
Translation Surah Adh Dhariyat Ayat no. 56
بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم
And I (Allah) created not the Jinn and mankind
except that they should submit to Me (Alone)
Brothers and Sisters! As Allah wanted to be submitted by mankind so there has to be proof of His (SWT) existence and Powers. In view of this Allah created this universe. This fact is revealed in the Qur’an:
Translation Surah Al A’raf Ayat no 54
بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم
Indeed your Lord is Allah Who created heavens and the earth in Six Days, and then He rose over (Istawa) the Arsh (really in a manner that suits His Majesty). He brings the night a cover over the day, seeking it rapidly, and (He created) the sun, the moon, the stars subjected to His command. Surely, His is the Creations and Commandment. Blessed is Allah, the Lord of the Alamin (mankind, jinn, and all that exists).
Brothers and Sisters! In this Ayat Allah advises mankind that He (SWT) is the Creator of this universe: sun, moon, stars etc.
Brothers and Sisters! In another Ayat Allah reveals His (SWT) knowledge i.e. He (SWT) Knows every function of His (SWT) creations:
Translation Surah Al Hadid Ayat no 4
بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم
He (Allah) it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days and then rose over (Istawa) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). He knows what goes on into the earth and what comes forth from it, and what descends from the heavens and what ascends thereto. And He is with you (by His Knowledge) wheresoever you may be. And Allah is the All-Seer of what you do.
Brothers and Sisters! As per narrations when universe was created then Allah created Hazrat Adam (PBUH) and thereafter Hazrat Haw’wa (Eve) (RTU). From the loin of Hazrat Adam (PBUH) Allah extracted all the offspring and introduced Himself. The circumstantial evidence depicts that Allah showed mankind all His (SWT) creations i.e. the universe and Heaven and Hell. Allah proposed to mankind that if they will submit to Him then they will live in Paradise where they will enjoy amenities of life forever. But if they will not submit to Him (SWT) they will have to live in Hell.
Brothers and Sisters! Allah reveals this proposition in the Qur’an:
Translation Surah Al Ahzab Ayat no 72
بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم
Truly, We did offer (propose) Al-Amanah (to submit to Him) to the heavens and the earth, and the mountains, but they declined to bear it and were afraid of it (i.e. afraid of Allah’s Torment). But man bore it. Verily, he was unjust (to himself) and ignorant (of its results).
Brothers and Sisters! The circumstantial evidence depict that as every creation is Allah’s creation, so technically, they were all equal. But when heavens, earth and mountain excused themselves to bear the responsibility and mankind assumed it then mankind became superior to all creations of the universe. The circumstantial evidence also depict that as heavens, earth and mountain excused themselves to bear the responsibility, Allah asked them to be of service to mankind.
Brothers and Sisters!
The question may emerge in mind that what about Angels and Jinn
why they were not proposed to bear this responsibility?
Brothers and Sisters! As per narrations, first Allah created Angels to submit to Him (SWT). But Angels were too submissive and were not disobedient to Allah not for a fraction of a moment. The circumstantial evidence depict that Allah did not enjoy such recognition. Brothers and Sisters! Then Allah created Jinn for His (SWT) recognition. But they were too mischievous i.e. too extremes.
Brothers and Sisters! Then Allah created mankind. For the ‘test’ of submission to Him (SWT) Allah gave mankind option to choose right or wrong for his day to day life. In short, ‘right’ is to follow Guidance of Allah and ‘wrong’ is to oppose Guidance of Allah.
Brothers and Sisters! If one will be on the right track i.e. Right Path then it will be ‘submission’ to Allah and if one opposes Guidance of Allah he will be non – submissive i.e. disobedient.
Brothers and Sisters! Before sending mankind on earth there was pact between Allah and mankind. The pact was that Allah will be Provider of everything and in return mankind will be submissive to Him (SWT). As below is the clause of the pact revealed in the Qur’an:
Translation Surah Al A’raf Ayat no 172
بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم
And (remember) when you Lord brought forth from Children of Adam, from their loins, their seed (or from Adam’s loin his offspring) and made them testify as to themselves (saying):
“Am I not your Rabb (Lord)?”
The said: “Yes! We Testify”,
Lest you should say on the Day of Resurrection: Verily, we have been unaware of this.
Brothers and Sisters! Rabb is attribute of Allah which denotes:
· Allah is Provider of Rizq i.e. food, clothes and shelter
· Allah is Preserver where Allah will protect
· Allah is Cherisher where Allah will look after
· Allah is Sustainer where Allah will help
· Last but not least Allah is source of ILM (knowledge)
Brothers and Sisters! In return for the above Allah asked mankind to be submissive to Him (SWT) and if he will be submissive then the plane of death will fly him to Paradise where he will enjoy amenities of life forever which no eyes has seen, no ears have heard and no mind can imagine.
ALLAH: OMNIPRESNT
Brothers and Sisters! It has been mentioned above to the effect that to be submissive to an Entity it is necessary that Entity should be present, for example, if one is submissive to Sun then he can see the Sun. Brothers and Sisters! But a human eye cannot look at the Sun because it is so hot that if one keeps looking at it he will become blind. Brothers and Sisters! It is believed everybody has experienced that when he is going in car and suddenly the light of sun reflects one goes blind i.e. he cannot see and immediately he lowers the shade which has been installed for this purpose. Brothers and Sisters! In fact we recognize Sun by its light because we know that this light is from Sun.
Brothers and Sisters! Light is not a matter which can be manufactured in a factory. Light emerges or is being produced when different forces are enjoined together e.g. building a Dam where water is processed in such a manner where electricity is produced which lights bulbs.

· Parah (Read)! In the Name of your Lord Who has created (all that exists)
· He (Allah) has created man from a clot (Piece of thick coagulated blood)
· Parah (Read)! And your Lord is Most Generous.
· Who has taught (ILM) by Qalam (Pen).
· He has taught man that which he knew not.
Brothers and Sisters!
· Allah had chosen Mohammed Ibne Abdullah (SAW) as Khatim ul Anbiyya (Last Prophet) to revive Deen e Islam in every corner of the world until the Day of Resurrection. In other words to convey Message of Allah to mankind.
It is natural phenomenon that ‘Message’ has to be based upon ILM. In view of this the first revelation was to learn ILM. This is why the first revelation to · In the fifth Ayat Allah assumes the responsibility to teach Him (SAW):
He (Allah) has taught man that which he knew not.
Brothers and Sisters! The concept of ‘education’, which is another name ‘to read’, is to secure education and implement it in day to day life to serve people in return for reward.
Brothers and Sisters! In view of the above it is ILM which is ‘Light’ everyone needs to move forward in life, and the source of ILM is Allah. In other words Allah is ‘Light’ (Nur).
Brothers and Sisters! Allah has revealed this fact in the Qur’an of Allah being Nur (Light):
Translation Surah An-Nur Ayat no 35
بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم
Allah is the Nur (Light) of the heavens and the earth.
The parable of His Nur (light) is as (if there were) a niche and within it a lamp; the lamp is in a glass, the glass as it were a brilliant star,
lit from a blessed tree, an olive, neither of the east (i.e. neither it gets rays only in the morning) nor of the west (i.e. nor it gets sun-rays only in the afternoon, but it is exposed to the sun all day long),
whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself), though no fire touched it. Light upon Light! Allah Guides to His light (ILM) whom He Wills. And Allah sets forth parables for mankind, and Allah is All-Knower of everything.
Brothers and Sisters! Scientists have discovered that light travels 186,000 miles per second. Allah has revealed:
Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth.
Brothers and Sisters! As ILM is ‘Light’ and the source of ILM is Allah, therefore, Allah is Light of ILM. The meaning of the above Ayat implies that Allah i.e. the Light of ‘ILM’ is within ‘Heavens’ and the ‘Earth’, therefore Allah is ‘Omnipresent’ and He (SWT) can be submitted to anytime anywhere.
Brothers and Sisters! Allah is Aleem. Allah Knew that mankind will be eager to see His (SWT) Entity. Allah made this clear that His Entity i.e. ‘Light’ cannot be seen by a human eye where Hazrat Musa (PBUH) posed his desire to Allah to see His (SWT) Entity. As below is dialogue between Allah and Hazrat Musa (PBUH):
Translation Surah Al A’raf Ayat no. 143 – 144
بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم
And when Musa (Moses) came at the time and place appointed by Us, and his Lord (Allah) spoke to him; he (Musa) said:
”O my Lord! Show me (Yourself),
that I may look upon you.”
Allah said: “you cannot see Me, but look upon the mountain if it stands still in its place then you shall see Me.”
So when his Lord reflected His Tajali (Nur) (light) to the Mountain, He made it collapse to dust, and Musa (Moses) fell down unconscious.
Then when he recovered his senses he said: “Glory is to You, I turn to You in repentance and I am the first of the believers (Muslim).
Allah said: “O Musa (Moses! I have chosen you above men by My Messengers, and by My speaking (to you). So hold that which I have given you and be of the grateful.
Brothers and Sisters! The Tajali (Light) of Allah was so powerful that when it was reflected upon mountain it became dust;
Brothers and Sisters!
So how a human eye can see Entity
of Allah Who is Nur (Light)
?
Brothers and Sisters! The reflection of Tajali (Nur) of Allah can be assessed that when thick clouds collide with each other then the spark emerges and wherever that spark falls it destroys the matter or kill people.
Brothers and Sisters! In view of this fact that human eye cannot see Allah, He (SWT) has kept His (SWT) Entity ‘Unseen’. However, Entity of Allah can be seen just like when we see light of Sun and we are sure that it is light of sun which cannot be looked at. Similarly, Allah can be seen through universe i.e. the Creator of the Universe just like Sun produces light.
Brothers and Sisters! In Ayat no.144:
Allah said: “O Musa (Moses! I have chosen you above men by My Messengers, and by My speaking (to you). So hold that which I have given you and be of the grateful.
Brothers and Sisters! Allah advised Hazrat Musa (PBUH) to the effect that I should not worry about the sight of Me (Allah), just do your job what you have been asked to do.
Brothers and Sisters! Message of Allah to Anbiyya is message to whole mankind. It is understandable as Anbiyya are to convey Message of Allah to mankind. Therefore, Message of Allah to mankind is to submit to him as He (SWT) is ‘Omnipresent’ and more nearer to their Jugular vein and this is revealed in the Qur’an:
Translation Surah Qaf Ayat no. 16
بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم
And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by Our Knowledge)
CONCLUSION
Brothers and Sisters! It is believed that the above representations clearly depict that why mankind has to be submissive to Allah i.e. in Ibadaah (worship) of Allah every moment of his life because everyone enjoys the above five clauses of the pact i.e.
